The Biggest Oversight When Hanging Your Flat Screen Tv On The Wall

So you've saved up your money and now going to buy a flat screen Tv. Possibly you have settled on a Lcd or Plasma.

I hope you didn't spend all of your money on the Tv because there a few things you may want to allocation for if you are not particularly handy nearby the house.

Largest Tv

Where are you going to install your Flat Screen?

The Biggest Oversight When Hanging Your Flat Screen Tv On The Wall

If you are going to mount your Tv on the wall there is something very foremost for you to consider

Do you have a Tv outlet installed at the height you want your Tv? Even if you said yes...I am sorry it will not be enough. Allow me to explain.

Can you picture where your existing Tv is set up? Maybe it's in an entertainment center. Now close your eyes and see all of those wires that join together in the middle of your Television & your satellite box, Dvd player and receiver.

Why do I bring this up?

If you hang your Tv on the wall with a appropriate Tv jack installed there-

What about all of those wires that we just talked about? How do you plan on connecting all of those wires that are needed to work all of your electronic equipment?

I told you that no one thinks about this.

Unfortunately, with a singular cable Tv jack over the fireplace...your Only selection is to stack your:

· Satellite receiver

· Cable Tv box

· Surround sound receiver

· Dvd player

All on top of your gorgeous fireplace!

Or have a bunch of ugly wires draped all over the place serving as a serious tripping hazard

Can you imagine interesting into a gorgeous new home and finding all of those pieces of equipment balancing on your mantel?

You would be surprised how many new homes are built this way. They install just a easy Tv jack over the fireplace. The homebuilders are totally clueless. Unfortunately, its up to you, the homeowner to foot the bill to wire this correctly.

So what can we do about it?

If you want the best signal possible, Then Hdmi cables are the way to go. One Hdmi cable run straight through the walls will do the work of all of those other wires we spoke of moments ago. To have this professionally done I would allocation from 5- 5 for Hdmi cables, depending on how long they need to be.

You can probably save two hundred dollars if you do this yourself.

Remember that buying the flat screen Tv is just the starting of your venture to have Hd Tv in your home.

Biggest Loser formula No. 1

Blue Team's Appetizer - Fried Scallops with Melted Onions

Serves 4

8 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 pound sweet onions, peeled and sliced thin

Salt and freshly ground pepper

2 egg whites

1 cup fine cornmeal

1 ½ pounds large sea scallops (U-10 count, preferably)

¼ cup cooking oil

1 cup canned diced tomato

Juice of half a lemon

4 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

1. Heat a medium saucepan over low heat. Add 3 tablespoons of butter and onions to pan and season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes - until onions have softened, stirring occasionally. Find and allow water to evaporate. Onions should have the texture of marmalade.

2. Meanwhile, in a shallow bowl, whisk the egg whites. Spread the cornmeal over a plate. Toss scallops in egg whites until fully coated. Take off one scallop at a time, allowing the excess egg white to drip off, and roll in the cornmeal. Shake off excess and season.

3. Heat a large sauté pan over high heat. Add oil and let it get hot. Carefully place scallops in pan one at a time and fry until first side is deep brown and crisped, about 2 minutes. Turn and cook on second side until interior is completely opaque and outside is brown, about 2 minutes. Exchange to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and cover lightly with aluminum foil to keep warm.

4. Drain oil from the sauté pan and dab clean with a paper towel. Set the pan over medium heat and add remaining butter. When the butter has browned, add the tomato and sauté 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice and chives. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

5. Serve the fried scallops over the melted onions with tomato-lemon sauce spooned over all.

Roger Clemens - Pepper Steak

Serves 4

3 ½ cups Free-Range Chicken Broth, low sodium

Fresh ground pepper and NuSalt

1 cup short-grain brown rice

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

12 Anaheim peppers

Pam spray

4 5-ounce portions lean beef tenderloin

1 vidalia onion, slice thinly

5 cloves chopped garlic

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

3 tablespoons cornstarch

½ cup Trader Joes Fat Free Salt-Free Marinara

½ cup Evaporated Fat Free Milk

½ cup chopped fines herbs (parsley, chives, tarragon and chervil)

Pinch of cayenne

1. Bring 2 cups chicken broth to boil in medium saucepot. Season with NuSalt and add rice. Cover, turn down heat to very low simmer and cook for 1 hour or until rice is tender and liquid absorbed. Fluff rice with fork and toss with olive oil. Keep warm.

2. Char Anaheim peppers over an open flame, turning to cook evenly, until skins are mostly burnt. Place peppers in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 7 mins to steam off skin. Take off as much charred skin as possible with paper towel. Seed peppers and cut into rings about ½ inch thick.

3. Heat large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Season and spray pan with Pam. Saute until golden brown, about 4 mins per side. Take off steaks from pan and keep warm.

4. Spray pan with Pam again and add onions. Saute until onions are beginning to come to be tender, about 5 mins. Add garlic and sauté for another minute. Deglaze with balsamic vinegar. Add 1 cup chicken stock to pan and bring to a simmer. Mix remaining ½ cup chicken stock with cornstarch to make a slurry and whisk into pan. Stir in marinara and evaporated milk and bring to a simmer. Add peppers, cayenne and simmer until vegetables are tender. Return beef to pan to reheat, for about 2 mins. Stir in fines herbs. Serve with rice.

What was the biggest event of 2011? The Japanese tsunami, the Us or European debt crises, or the deaths of Osama bin Laden, Kim Jong-Il, Muammar Gaddafi, or even Steve Jobs? Or was it something else?

In a year where the world's habitancy reached 7 billion (October 31), Gregorian Year Mmxi has revealed no less hype, drama and tragedy than we're used to seeing. Perhaps in terms of enormity the following ten events can be considered (in reverse 'countdown' order of importance) the biggest, most memorable:

Atlantis' last, Flight Sts-135, closed the final mission of Nasa's Space Shuttle schedule when it lands back at the Kennedy Space center on July 21. 135 missions were flown between 1981 and 2011. Besides its launching of space probes, satellites, and work with the International Space Station, the Program's most memorable heritage might, unfortunately, be the 1986 Challenger and 2003 Columbia disasters.

Number Nine - Twin Terrorist Attacks in Norway

The world is shocked when it learns of the 76 habitancy killed in simultaneous attacks in Oslo and the island of Utoya on July 22. What is designed by the terrorist to divide the country undoubtedly unites it-in its grief. It compels many democracies to consider their arrival to justice for such situations.

Number Eight - Steve Jobs' Death

Whilst the death of Steve Jobs (October 5) pales into insignificance when compared with other indispensable world events for the year, there is no demand the impact such a death, and therefore his life, had over the world. Millions of tributes are written as the world laments the passing of a technological genius.

Number Seven - Horn of Africa Famine

Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya are entrapped in a famine affecting the livelihoods of nearly 15 million people; the worst in 30-60 years. Varied aid agencies work together in the troubled regions to sustain as they can, and to promote the plight of these ultra-poor to the comparatively rich Western world. This emergency sickens some seasoned collective justice commentators for the sheer size of the famine and resultant desolation and the comparative apathy of the world's response.

Number Six - Muammar Gaddafi Killed

Reports of the October 20 death of the Libyan dictator stream into lounge rooms. It is a win not only for the local people, but for democracy and hope for the wider region and more global world. Just two months earlier, during the Battle of Tripoli, Libyan rebels ousted Gadaffi's regime.

Number Five - North Korean "Dear Leader" Kim Jong-Il Dies

On December 17, North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-Il dies of a heart strike aged 69. News breaks gradually over national television and filters into the international society within 48 hours as many brainwashed North Korean nationals enter into severe mourning. Soon the mooted successor emerges: Kim Jong-Il's youngest son Kim Jong-Un. This event causes uncut interest and concern for regional and global threats because of political instability. A one million strong genocide and a one million strong army are the legacies of Kim Jong-Il.

Number Four - Us Debt-Ceiling Crisis

In late July, the culmination of 30 years of growing debt, together with the consequences of the Global Financial emergency of 2008, sees the United States days from bankruptcy; as a corollary President Barack Obama engineers the Budget control Act, 2011, into legislature. The Us government bond is downgraded for the first time in the nation's history.

Number Three - Osama bin Laden Killed

What is arguably the biggest event of 2011, for the sheer magnitude of one terrorist's destructive legacy, Perhaps the biggest affect over worldwide affairs in the first decade of the 21st century, is finalised on May 1. Bin Laden's death brings an outpouring of emotion worldwide, significantly months before the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks.

Number Two - Impending Collapse of the Euro

The economies of Greece and Italy, among others, severely stretch the sustainability of the Euro. Momentous political and economic reforms are made as the Euro law teeters on the brink of collapse, which threatens to drag the world into a prolonged recession.

Number One - Japan Earthquake and Subsequent Tsunami

The March 11, 14:46hrs (Japan acceptable Time), 9.1 Magnitude Tohoku undersea megathrust quake, with an epicentre 70 km from dry land, at a relatively shallow underwater depth of 32 km, hits the mainland of Japan, via a tsunami, shortly after. The biggest secondary impact is on Sendai and the Fukushima nuclear power plant, initiating a protracted national nuclear emergency. At an estimated economic cost of Us5 billion, the World Bank rates it the most high-priced natural disaster on record. Almost 16,000 habitancy die, Almost 6,000 habitancy are injured, and some 3,600 are listed still missing, from 18 prefectures. Significantly, this earthquake shifts earth minutely off its axis.

2011's Ten Biggest, Most Memorable EventsJohn Carpenter -Who Wants to be a millionaire ? Tube. Duration : 3.03 Mins.

John Carpenter became the first millionaire on the United States version of the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire on November 19, 1999. He held the record for the largest single win in United States game show history,[1] until it was broken by Rahim Oberholtzer who won .12 million on another US quiz show, Twenty One.[2] Carpenter was also the first top prize winner among all international versions of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire series.[3] Carpenter is from Hamden, Connecticut. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1990 with a degree in economics.[4] At the time of his appearance on Millionaire, he was 31 years old and worked as a collections agent (revenue officer) for the US Internal Revenue Service.[1] When he revealed his profession as an IRS officer on Millionaire, Carpenter was booed playfully by the audience.[5] Carpenter proceeded to reach the final question without using any of his lifelines. The 00000 question was, "Which of these US Presidents appeared on the television series Laugh-In?", with the choices being A) Lyndon Johnson, B) Richard Nixon, C) Jimmy Carter, and D) Gerald Ford.[6] And the way he answers it..is SIMPLY AWESOME !!
